Tina Hoang-To
Founding General Partner
Tina invests across a wide range of sectors, with direct experience in both consumer and enterprise software businesses.
She is focused on leading Kin Ventures’ investment practice, with a passion for enterprise SaaS, health & wellness, marketplace, edtech, fintech, and web3 companies. Tina’s active investments include Logixboard and Alloy Automation.
Before launching Kin, she led emerging growth investments for Obvious Ventures and served on the board of Torch and invested in Medable. Prior to that, Tina was Executive Vice President at TCV focusing on growth deals and invested in companies like Splunk (NASDAQ: SPLK), Merkle (acquired by Dentsu). She previously founded and served as CEO of Wedding Spot (acquired by Cvent), the first online marketplace to offer instant price quotes for wedding venues across 43 states in the United States.
Tina received a BS and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business. Tina grew up in the Bay Area and loves to travel. She spent two years traveling full-time, covering over 50 countries and 275 cities. She now lives in the greater Seattle area and enjoys adventures outdoors.

Venture Partner
Dhruv Asher is a Venture Partner at Kin Ventures. Dhruv will leverage his deep expertise around building, scaling and his operating experience to give portfolio companies a competitive edge.
Dhruv currently leads Business Development and Technology Alliances at UiPath (NYSE: PATH). Dhruv set the product vision and his team executed the strategic partnerships and ecosystem strategy as part of the executive team from Series B to Initial Public Offering.
Before joining UiPath, Dhruv was a senior member of the Corporate and Business Development teams at Microsoft, where he sourced, evaluated, negotiated and executed acquisitions, strategic partnerships and investments to support Microsoft’s strategic priorities. Before joining the Corporate and Business Development teams, Dhruv was a senior trader at Microsoft’s Capital Markets group managing a proprietary $7 billion Strategic Investment portfolio. He started his career in trading at Robertson Stephens.
Dhruv received a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in Economics and Communication from Denison University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Dhruv is a CFA charter holder.

Ben supports our portfolio companies post investment, with a focus on all things talent.
Ben leads our in-house recruiting agency, GT Partners, and has over a decade of experience recruiting the highest caliber of software engineers to the most successful quantitative trading funds in the U.S. like Jane Street Capital, Twosigma, and Hudson River Trading. In recent years, Ben and GTP have made expanded to focus on the technology sector and placing hires into the likes of Mongo DB, Clever, Logixboard, Edge Delta, Canvas, and Circle.
Ben oversees the recruiting team and sets technical direction as GTP is expanding across both regions and markets.

Michelle Pan joined Kin Ventures as an intern in July of 2023. She is currently studying Cognitive Science and Global Studies at UCLA and has worked on multiple projects for both startups and VC firms such as Poppi, Holi Scoops, and Owl Ventures. She has experience in product marketing, having also interned with NBCUniversal.
Rob Del Prete

Fund Controller
Rob Del Prete is a Fund Controller at Kin Ventures. With over 14 years of experience in the fund administration field, Rob will oversee all fund accounting processes and financial reporting operations for the firm.
Currently, Rob is the Managing Partner of RDP Fund Services. RDP Fund Services performs accounting, analytical, and operational support for micro-venture capital funds. Rob boasts a proven track record of providing top-tier CFO level services and professional back-office support to funds of all sizes, while his passion lies in utilizing his analytical skills, process improvement expertise, and partnership agreements knowledge to alleviate fund managers' concerns, enabling them to prioritize investment decisions over back office operations.
Previously, Rob was one of the initial team members of the fund admin offering at Carta. Rob helped scale the business from zero customers in February of 2018 to over 500 by the end of 2021 with over $30mm in annual revenue. Rob also assisted with the design and implementation of the quarterly and annual financial package used to service over 500 firms with over 1,000 funds; successfully navigating and streamlining hundreds of year-end financial audits.
Prior to Carta, Rob was a hedge fund accountant at State Street. Rob owned multiple functions of the investor services business including month-end closes, compliance reviews, and integrating internal controls for the team while also identifying and implementing strategies for both expansion and improvements, ensuring efficiency of the business unit. Rob received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Penn State University and an MBA from Monmouth University. Rob volunteers as a youth coach and is an active member of his children’s PTO.
